This course discusses how to use the Size Matters Handwriting Program in a multi-tiered intervention (e.g. RtI, MTSS, I&RS, etc.), schoolwide, within classrooms, with small groups and individually. The 8 Key Concepts and Strategies for adapting SMHP for all learners will be covered as will measurement, supportive materials, and published efficacy studies. This is Part 1of a 2-part series on the Size Matters Handwriting Program.

It is a little disappointing to see some disparaging of other handwriting programs in the attempt to promote this program. I believe this is a good program that can stand on its own merits without disparaging other programs. The reality is, the more tools we have the better we can service those we work with in OT. Nothing is a one size fits all.
